Getting Started
Learn the basic Hiddos DDoS protection workflow and console entry points.
Hiddos DDoS Protection
Hiddos provides DDoS protection through protected IP addresses. Once your service traffic is routed through a protected IP, legitimate traffic is forwarded to your origin according to the origin rules. Protection policies control how attack traffic and access-control rules are handled.
Available protection capacity, bandwidth, protocols, and billing depend on your plan, instance configuration, and the current console settings.
Basic Workflow
- Register and sign in: Create an account, sign in, and open the Hiddos console.
- Choose a plan: Select a plan that fits your service and complete payment.
- Review the instance: Open the instance list to view its protected IP, status, specifications, and validity period.
- Configure origins: Add an origin rule with the protocol, proxy port, and origin servers.
- Configure policies: Select a policy template and add access-control rules where needed.
- Deploy and verify: Deploy the policy, then test real requests to confirm access and origin forwarding.
Console Features
Instances
Review protected instances and open their overview, policies, and origin configuration.
Subscriptions and Orders
Review subscription status, order details, and currently available payment or cancellation actions.
Bills
Review protection bills, traffic measurements, and amounts due.
Settings
Manage your profile, password, two-factor authentication, linked accounts, and payment cards.
Before You Connect Traffic
- Confirm the origin address, application protocol, and listening port.
- Ensure the origin allows traffic from the protection service.
- Do not continue exposing the origin IP after onboarding.
- Verify origin forwarding and policies before switching production traffic.
Incorrect DNS, routing, firewall, or origin settings can interrupt your service. Keep a working copy of the previous configuration so you can roll back a production change.
