Product Introduction

Learn about Hiddos DDoS protection instances, policies, origins, and monitoring.

Positioning

Hiddos DDoS protection receives service traffic through a protected IP and forwards permitted traffic to your origins. Each instance has its own protected IP, plan specifications, service term, protection policies, and origin configuration.

Protection capacity, protocol support, billing, and service scope depend on your plan, order, and the current console settings.

Core Components

Protection Instance

Holds the protected IP, status, specifications, plan, and validity period.

Protection Policies

Uses policy templates and access-control rules to manage how instance traffic is handled.

Origin Configuration

Defines the access protocol, proxy port, origin servers, and scheduling policy.

Attack Analysis

Shows attack statistics and traffic trends for the time range selected on the page.

Management Workflow

  1. Purchase a plan and create a protection instance.
  2. Review the protected IP and instance specifications.
  3. Add and verify origin rules.
  4. Select a policy template and configure access-control rules.
  5. Deploy the policy to publish saved changes.
  6. Monitor instance status, attack statistics, and traffic trends from the overview.

Access Control

The console provides allowlist, blocklist, filter, and location pages. Available fields and actions may vary with the instance configuration; use the options currently shown on the page.

Access-control rules affect production traffic. Confirm the target range and prepare a rollback before adding allowlist, blocklist, or location rules.

Renewal and Upgrades

Active instances can be renewed or upgraded when the page permits it. Expired instances can be renewed. The instance overview shows an alert near expiry; available actions depend on instance status and plan capabilities.
